If you're interested in working in a gym, health club or leisure facility as a Fitness Instructor then the Fitness Instructor course is for you. The job description for this role varies from gym to gym but you can expect to do a combination of the following: new member inductions, writing exercise programmes, swimming pool tests, cleaning of equipment, maintenance, member service calls, administration, organising gym challenges, member interaction, teaching classes, and gym floor walking. So your days are likely to be full of various things to do.

Personal Trainer Course

Being a Fitness Instructor can be a very satisfying and rewarding job, but is typically not as financially rewarding as being a Personal Trainer. This is because the extra skills and knowledge learnt from our Certificate in Personal Training allows you to train clients on a one to one basis as a personal trainer over an extended period of time, whilst giving them top quality customer care. Clients are willing to pay Personal Trainers for the bespoke programming, nutritional advice, higher anatomical knowledge to assist with a wider range of goals, motivation and ultimately, professionalism. You are sure to enjoy the fun challenge of being a personal trainer! Personal Training continues to grow so get involved in the fitness industry today.

PT courses are the only way to get qualified as a PT. Any PT courses you see should be REPS approved. Avoid taking any PT course that has no recognised qualification when finished.
