E-Learning

Electronic Learning or 'E-Learning' is a term used to describe a method of study that utilises communication technology. In it's simplest form, reading about a subject on the Internet via your PC or even mobile phone is E-Learning. However with our system it's possible to interact and select what you want to study at any time.

You won't need to know to much about computers because E-Learning is a simple and structured delivery of information that assists the student at every step of learning any subject.

The following training courses contain an element of E-Learning material:

"Nothing is as good as being in the classroom".

Whoever believes that statement above, shouldn't be so quick to agree! Technology has come a long way since the good old days of classrooms, blackboards and chalk. You are now able to study any time and anywhere using only an Internet connection and a PC/Laptop/Phone/PDA.

Be A Better You - Training understands that modern life can be busy and spending countless hours learning theory in a classroom is not the best use of time. That's why we offer the Blended Learning option for our Personal Trainer courses, Fitness instructor courses, and Exercise to Music courses, with the weekends being practical in our gym. We support home study of the theory element using webinars to supplement your learning if you wish to view them.

Some of our Distance Learning courses also use E-Learning: ONLINE Kids Fitness Trainer course, ONLINE Teens Fitness Trainer course, and Nutrition and Weight Management Adviser.

How does it work?

  • Step 1: Get an E-Learning account

Once you have booked on to a course that uses E-Learning, you receive an account after we've processed your application form. This usually takes 1-2 days.
  • Step 2: Login

You'll receive your login details by email. Then, using your computer device and Internet connection, login to your private E-Learning space.
  • Step 3: Getting started

Click on 'Lesson Structure'. Start by reading the first section by clicking on 'View'. When you have finished reading this section, select 'Yes - I Understand' then click next.
  • Step 4: Completing each section

At the end of each section is a worksheet. This gives you a chance to test what you've learnt in an open and non-stressful way. It's in exactly the same multiple choice format as the real theory paper, so you'll be well prepared.
  • Step 5: Completing the module

Once you've completed all the sections, you can then access the mock theory paper. You can test your self against a set of multiple choice questions in the same format as the real theory paper.
  • Step 6: Congratulations!

On successful completion of the mock theory paper you'll receive an Certificate of Completion email. What better way to prepare yourself for the real thing?
